Silent hill 1 pc port download1/25/2024 Even if they were make a native PC port (looks like they lost the source code of SH1), remake it or release the original PS1 game ISO slapped with an emu, something that Konami didn't in +20 years (maybe because the game uses some SONY libraries and would need PS1 bios too, which is of course SONY's propierty), they would release it on Steam instead of here, that's for sure. Voted for this but since this game hadn't a pc port, this wish is impossible. You can't invite this user because you have blocked him. You can't chat with this user because you have blocked him. Downpour is just trapped completely.Dancsi38 Dancsi38 Sorry, data for given user is currently unavailable. Homecoming technically is on PC as well but I've heard it's not a great version. You can play them all on Xbox but since you don't have one, they're trapped on PS3. Though Homecoming and Downpour aren't easily available for you. In the Game Port category we have seen 3 entries approved we have seen PS Vita legendary. Origins is the only one I actively DISLIKE. this game is a Silent Hill 2/Alan Wake style survival horror game. Though there's also good stuff in there too. If you didn't want to see everything, you can skip them. The game is a hybrid of survival horror and dungeon crawler genres with its influences ranging from Silent Hill to Nethack. So I guess Wii emulation? You may have to do some fiddling to get the audio meant to come out of the wiimote working.Īs for the other ones, Origins, Homecoming, and Downpour. Wine Itch.io version last published 1 year, 11 months ago. I prefer the PS2 version for lack of waggle but it's rarer and more expensive (and technically inferior). Steam,, Origin, Uplay and many other sources running on any. The PS2 version doesn't emulate well at all and the Wii version required you to be able to set up motion control stuff. However, I stumbled upon a few sites that claim an unofficial PC port exists. I've spent the past few days trying to find information about it, but have found basically nothing I can't even find gameplay. The less spoiled about it the better but it's a fantastic different take on Silent Hill as a series. Silent Hill Mobile DX (not to be confused with SH Orphan) is a super obscure mobile game that came out in 2006/2007. Shattered Memories is absolutely worth playing after 1-4. I know there was a recent release on GOG, no idea if it's any good, but PS2 emulation is fine. A lot of interesting ideas that are worth seeing. It's not as good as 1-3 but it's still part of the original run and it was their attempt to be weird and experimental. It might not hit everything it tried to do but has a lot of good ideas on display (Even if stuff like lackluster monster designs kinda hurt it).Ĭlick to shrink.SH4 is worth playing. It's not a perfect game but I consider it the most ambitious out of the western titles barring Shattered Memories. They're moreso there if you want more Silent HIll than having any really interesting story to experience IMO.ĭownpour on the other hand I think is well worth checking out (But sadly, unless you have an Xbox that's basically out of hand unless you get into PS3 Emulation). Originally posted by Malucats: In the PCSX2 menu go to Config > Emulation Settings > Game Fixes tab, click 'enable manual game fixes' and enable the 'Switch to GSdx Software rendering when an FMV plays' fix. Homecoming & Origins aren't bad either but more run-of-the-mill. Thankfully that one is on GoG and easy to get a hold of and play.Īfter that, I definitely recommend Shattered Memories (Any Version as it's mostly the same game, just Wii & PS2 have better graphics than PSP and Wii has the Waggle). If you play the first 3 and want more then you'll definitely be recommended SH4 (I haven't played that but 1-4 seem to be what people consider a packaged deal of what needs to be played).
